Krisanne Cunningham

Krisanne S. Cunningham is a Managing Partner at Rice Reuther Sullivan & Carroll, LLP. Her broad-based transactional experience spans 25 years and includes mergers and acquisitions, business law, corporate governance, LLCs and joint ventures, incentive equity, tax planning and non-profit organizations. Krisanne regularly negotiates and manages sophisticated M&A transactions, including deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Krisanne has extensive experience with Nevada LLCs and joint ventures and regularly advises boards on corporate governance issues. She also works with entrepreneurs and start-up companies, from the time they begin to raise capital and grant incentive equity compensation through the point of an eventual sale.  Krisanne is currently the Chair of the Tax Section of the State of Nevada Bar.

Krisanne spent her first years out of law school at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering (now, WilmerHale) at their Washington, DC headquarters. While there, Krisanne worked with Fortune 500 companies and some of the largest non-profit organizations in the Country.

Krisanne graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she received the Madeleine and Roger Traynor Award and was Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Tax Review. She also received an L.L.M. (masters of law) degree in Taxation from the Georgetown Law Center, where she was a Graduate Tax Scholar and graduated With Distinction.

Krisanne is an AV Preeminent Peer Review rated (5.0 out of 5.0) attorney by Martindale-Hubbell® and has been named a Mountain States Super Lawyer® (Mergers & Acquisitions), one of Top 50 Women by Super Lawyers®, is rated in Chambers USA® (Corporate/Commercial), is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, has been recognized by Best Lawyers of America® (in Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions), and has been named one of Nevada’s Legal Elite by the Nevada Business Magazine  multiple times, based on votes from her peers (she was the top vote-getter in Southern Nevada in 2016).
